A beautiful spot right above the east side of the Lake. A welcoming tasting area on the patio. It's own lovely restaurant.
The winery is located on the eastern hillside overlooking Okanagan Lake. Historically an orchard, the first European vinifera were planted in 1985. Lake Breeze Vineyards is proud to be the first winery in Canada to grow and produce Pinotage, the native South African variety. Pinotage was developed in South Africa in the 1920s and is a cross between pinot noir and cinsaut (often referred to as hermitage).
The winery is group owned by the husband and wife teams consisting of Gary Reynolds and Tracy Ball and Drew and Barbara MacIntyre. Gary Reynolds is the operating partner. The winery is named after the winds that blow along the lake. Garron Elmes, the winemaker at Lake Breeze Vineyards, was given the additional title of president.
Winery property is 12 acres, 9 of which are planted. Producing 11,000 cases signature wines: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, MeritageThey also produce MacIntyre Heritage Reserve. A licensed patio offers light lunches.
